New Video "Wild eyed southern boys"

So, being jealous of the guys gettin' some down in Wildwood this weekend, and JIBE next weekend, and I was lucky enough to have yesterday off with SE wind at 8 mph G-25! I went back to the horse track at the local fairgrounds. Nice hardpack, though a little rough from the spring runoff, gave a 'wild-eyed' ride, hence the tune.

That is interesting. I have profoil handles and about the same length lines on my identical NPW. Those handles are better designed for NPW than the kite they came with.

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

Thanks Kami, lots of fun to fly, pack up small, not too expensive, and fly on about any length lines. It's too bad HQ stopped making them. I've got a lot of miles on that one, and it was the last one Angus had in stock, 3 years ago. Lucky for us there is Susan.

@ greasehopper, that was the Tachyon XC Micro mounted in a home made sch 40 pvc mount. Here's a link to a flikr set showing the mount. I guess it wasn't the right link, but if you look at my "versatile sch 40 pvc" video on my youtube channel, at youtube.com/57bobalooie, you can see the mount. Meanwhile I will get the link to the flikr set.

edit: try again on the link. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bobalooie57/5726507415/

What size is that NPW? I just finished building my own 2m one a couple of days ago. I was thinking of building a 6m one next but judging by how this 2m pulls, 6m may be too big. I'd like one I could buggy or try a mountain board with. Here's a quick vid of my 2m. Don't laugh this is my second day on a 4 line kite.

That was pretty good wind, you were in, dawicks, by the look of the pull you were getting. The NPW5 in my video is the 4.8M, by HQ. I love the NPW's, to me they are always fun to fly. Nice job on your kite, by the way. I don't have the sewing skill myself, so good for you!

Thanks for the compliments. Yah it was windy, may 40 kph or so? Not totally sure. It was a steep learning curve, but made much easier with the help of Tom White. His design program is amazing and without being able to bounce a few emails off of him it would have been very tough. He is one heck of a nice guy and he has some amazing looking NPWs.
