I just saw a perfectly awful looking 4.6 m kite in the argos catalouge. it looked so badly made and designed that i dopubt it would take off and the cheek of it is that they are selling it for £380! Thats into phantom price range! who in their right mind would buy one? the only good thing i can think of is that people we dont want in the sport will buy one of these, find out it is **** and get put off. does anyone here own one, seen one or flown one so i can laugh at them?

Ha! Ha! This is great I just dug out my copy and saw the kites. My fave has got to be item 5. For a mere £124.99 (the price of a 5 metre radsail pro 2 on ebay) you could be the proud owner of a flying mattress. For those who don't have the Argos book check out www.argos.co.uk.

its funny huh! the thing is that they cost that much but you could buy a blade for that money!!! do who would buy one? the advantage is that people who dont know what they are doing buy crap and gett put off. its like a defence mechanism for the sport keeping chavs away from it.
