Is there ways to demo flysurfer kites???? I might get busy at work in August, which will cancel my holiday plans. As such, I thinking of looking for a water/land kite that may give a closer feel to how my access handles. I've flown that kite in some crazy gusty shifty conditions, with no hassles. Its very predictable, even though its super fast. Fits my wind conditions really well. I know that the pulse2 sounds quite similar and might look for one of those, but was thinking of the Unity. Everything I've read about it sounds up my alley. Its just seems like a lot of cash without being able to demo it. This is something I've been on the fence about for a while now. Its tough to find what your looking for without being able to try the gear.

When I asked about this the answer was yes, if I wanted to go to Bellingham to do the demo.

Rip has since been able to bring a couple of Flysurfers in for demo locally ( Van )

Would love to demo the unity myself... Looks promising.

Yeah I'm not 100% sure if I'll get my vacation time or not. At the end of work the other day, there was talk about a couple big jobs starting in mid- July. If that happens I won't be able to take time off till the jobs are done. I was thinking I could grab up a 19m SA2, but after having my nice ATB ride the other day I really started thinking about how I liked the way the access handles. Not that there is anything wrong with any of the other kites I have. I tuned the speed 2 today, so I'll see if it improves how I manage with it. The way that the Unity is said to handle, really has me wanting to try it. There may be a bit of time before people have it in their hands to give an everyday persons review. I messaged Flysurfer USA explained what I was experiencing trying to learn on the water. They replied asking where I lived and how much I weighed. I replied and also asked if there was a way to get a demo in the next few months.....No reply back, but that was at the end of yesterday, so more than likely next week some time. God I must sound like a crazy person not knowing what I want, and wanting everything.

I think you sound pretty normal.

Try before you buy is a great concept but doesn't always work. I had to take the leap of faith with FS as well. Love the kites but can't figure out the company?
