handmade kiteboard

I would like to make plywood kiteboard. Has anyone had any experience with these? I drew the board that my friend will cut on a CNC machine. Rocker of the board I will make with a mold and steam cleaner. Does anyone know the best thickness of plywood, and coatings that are best for tamper outside influence. Sorry for bad english, I understand it well but I find it hard when I write a sentence.

Best regards
