hey guys so in the mean time was gonna get a Peter Lynn Vibe 2 (II) 2-Line Power Kite just for practice now im wanting the 2.6m but it says this thing can only handle 15knots but they all come with the same size and strength lines right? so what im asking is could you still fly this in 20 knots just like the smaller 1.6 version please help im confused heres a link http://www.powerkiteshop.com/peter-lynn-vibe-kite.htm

A two line won't get much use once you've flown the four line power kites. Well, mine don't anyway. Save your money. Stick with the Imp 4 line or similar.

If you really want to start with 2 lines I recommend something that can be converted to 4 like the cheap Prism Stylus that I reviewed yesterday.
To your other question about line strength: this kite came with 150# test line and a high end wind of 20 mph. Fly it in about 25 -30 and you can enjoy the thrill of snapping a line [or two :wee:]. I think that Angus still has quad line sets on clearance for c. $65
