**SOLD*** FS: 2004 North Husky 6m Closed Cell Foil RTF***SOLD***

$250.00 + Shipping

This was my first kite after flying a trainer (3m beamer).

This is a 4-Line closed cell foil kite that can be flown and relaunched from water with ease. This kite is in fantastic condition for its age and would not hesitate to sell it to anyone.

There are two minor repairs done with ripstop tape (1" x 1" 'L' shape tears) which do not affect performance. I have flown this kite 8+ times since they were repaired.

I have used this kite mainly for snow kiting however I have had several water sessions and it has always worked flawlessly.

The lines have lots of life left, bar and chicken loop etc are all in good shape. Bottom line is that this kite can easily be enjoyed for several more seasons with moderate usage.

If you have questions please instant message me through this site, or email me brentpottle @ hotmail.com (remove the spaces) otherwise email me your postal code/zip code and I will get you a shipping quote.

Could also be interested in trading this as a partial trade for a newer tube kite...

Thanks
Brent

Hello I looked this up but with my tremendous PC skills I could not find anything on it:crazy:
I am wondering if this is Depower or just flying on a bar? Looks to be Depower but I'm not sure.
Thanks, Dave.

Yes, depower...

Kite was way before my time, but from the spec sheet:

Technical Data:
  • 25 chambers
  • Angle of attack 3.5°

Sizes:
  • 6.2m
  • 8.0m
  • 10.2m

Key Advantages
  • Fast and easy setup and packing.

  • The kite fills extremely fast within the first few seconds of launching. No pre-filling required.

  • No assistance required for launching.

  • Wider range of use due to excellent depower properties.

  • Easy handling and harmonious flying characteristics (ideal for newcomers).

  • No aggressive buildup of pressure.

  • High foil stability.

  • Good performance for jumps.

  • Very good hangtime (gliding properties) particularly at light, dynamic thermal winds (close to slopes).

If you're interested, I can try to dig up some reviews.

ATB,
Sam

Thanks Sam.
So would you consider this a decent entry Depower for buggying? I'm not into being in the air but I know first hand it does happen so amaybe this is a good kite to practice emergany lifts and landing with.
Any knowlage will bring me power!!
