I've been diligently looking for a Slingshot T3 11m for a few weeks now and figure it was time to throw it out there and see if anyone has one
collecting dust that they'd like to swap for a bit of pocket change. I'm budgeting about $350-450 (please tell me if I'm out to lunch) but for the
right kite would entertain anything within reason. I know where I can get my hands on a NOS for $800 but the poor thing might meet it's maker with me.
I'd hate to do that to a new rig.
I had a fantastic lesson on a 9m in the Keys - hence the specific hunt. 9m was great but I need a *bit* more. I think the 11 will get me rocking this
season for sure and then I can get back on the foils.
If I can track one down.
I'm in Edmonton, Alberta and have cash to roll NOW if you've got what I need and are willing to pack it up and ship it.
Why the T3? I'll tell you in the off chance you've got something similar that you think would suit. The 9m felt great to fly. It had the same "just
let go" safety that the Arcs have, the difference being that the kite drops out of the sky, powerless and then waddles over to the edge of the window
and just sits there on it's wingtip with minimal power (great for me in our deep waters). Easy one handed flying, nice safety system (I'll prob be
chickenloop launching and landing to the safety).
I put a feeler out on Borntofli's Rise 12 because I suspect that'd treat me well too but he's MIA and I wanna get wet. It's likely spoken for already
anyway.
There I've said it. Let's see what the universe will provide here.....
