Hey I'm curious if someone can explain how you work your way up to peppers like that. My assumption is that you just start low and work your way up as it becomes more tolerable. I was just reading that there are a lot of health benefits from eating stuff like that, so now I'm kinda interested in it. I throw jalapenos on all my subs, so thinking that might be a good place to start.

I make jolokia sauce (was hottest pepper, around 1 million scoville) on everything... Ive always liked hot food tho.... Switch from jalapenos to thai or cayennes, then habaneros, then you'll be a true pepper head!

I ate a couple cayennes with breakfast, had two habs on a buritto, and ate a whole habanero to shut some guy up lol.... All with a smile on my face

Where would hot paprika fall into the scheme of things???? I have a bottle of this stuff and some added to some food makes things really tasty.

Not sure, there ARE many types of red paprika, some are made from sweet red peppers with 0 heat... I've tried to find the hot stuff just to try it, but haven't been able to find any....

If that's the orangeish brownish paprika, youre prolly burning past cayennes... Cayennes are like 60k scoville iirc.... And from what I've read, that's where the top tier spicy paprika sits... Should be tasty, paprika is a sweet pepper!

Well it tastes real good on dumplings, I know that much. My friend gave me the bottle, cuz she uses it for her hot chicken and dumplings. Apparently she uses 1 tbs for like two crockpots full.

just checked, and its orange.....bought me some grace hot sauce. Put a bunch in a bowl of Mr.Noodles, I swear I sweated out two glasses of water by the time I was done. Has a real nice taste to accompany the heat.

Lol for animal control, dry a hot pepper out, grind it down, load powder into a hose-fertilizer system, put on mask/gloves, spray property as needed..... No animal enters my yard!

For a real treat stop up at CrooS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s in Black Hawk, CO and order the Raspberry Ghost ice cream.

The chef there makes his own ice cream among a bunch of other yummy things.

It is a blend of raspberries and ghost peppers. You get that cool creamy fruity blast followed by some real heat. It is outrageously good.

They also have a decadent Aztec ice cream which is made with dark chocolate and cayenne pepper. It is to die for with a hot kahlua and coffee.

BTW CrooS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s is the oldest bar in Colorado. Many famous outlaws have drank at the bar that was brought up from St. Louis.

OMG that ice cream sounds amazing. I think it was on this forum that I learned about a spicy hot fudge to put on ice cream.

lol I cut some Jalapenos for my pizza on Friday and did that. Only funny if you want to see a man jumping up and down in agony not knowing what to do. Oh and I managed to put down a whole bottle of that sauce today between three meals. Not as hot as the first time I tasted it, but my mouth burned for a while after finishing the bottle in my noodles. Got one more in the cupboard, gonna get more on Friday.

Now this is funny.....
