when i crash its not because i cant fly its because the wind drops completly and it turns into nothing more than a meterial mess in the air then
crashes then i have to reset the kite then the process repeats itsself |
But with more time and skill you maybe able to stay away from the edge of the window, downturn the kite, apply a bit more pressure to the lines and
keep the kite in the air. HOWEVER, if your wind is really that crappy, then the LAST thing you should be thinking about is trying to jump.
NIce video, very smooth jumping. I think I saw that the kite was a Combat ?? A very lifty, high aspect kite and the bloke flying it has a LOT of
skill. (helmet, please) Probably hundreds of hours - he doesn't have to think about what to do, he knows instinctively where his kite is and what to
do with it.
Try that with a 3m foil and you'd be lucky if you weren't carted off in an ambulance.
But certainly buy either of the 3m PL kites - they're great kites, put in lots and lots of time with them then get yourself a bigger fb or better
still a s/h 9-10m depower
Remember, the guys that make it look easy have usually put in a heap of time and have been flying for years.
