12x35x11mm bearings
I have an old KiteTrike and can't seem to find the right bearings. I ordered some online based on the number on the bearing (6300-RS) but what I
received were 10x35x11 and I need ID 12mm. Does anyone know where I might find the correct size?

They could be 10mm width, so 12x35x10. VXB does have this size but they are described as a Single Row ball bearing. Do you think they will suffice at
$6.95 each?

unless thread limits tightened distance , may need small washer to compensate.

No idea where the hubs came from as there's not a common 12 mm bearing for that. Perhaps it was modified at some point but the 6300 is a 10mm bore.
Here's what's commonly available from the major manufacturers.

Anything else will be a special construct and very expensive.

Can you check your present bearings? The bearing number should be on the seal. If not, use vernier gauge and check the dimensions. As kite trike is
an American made product you might want to use an Imperial vernier gauge rather than metric. A 1621- 2rs is 1/2" x 1 3/8" x 7/16" - or 12.7mm x
34.9mm x11.11mm.

If it is a 6300-RS I think it's a 10x35x11. Not to muddy the waters but it's a commonly used bearing in mountain bike suspension systems. I have a
few here kickin around for sure if you'd like me to double check.
Bike shops sell them for about $10 a piece. You can get the same bearing at NAPA for less.
