I just finnished a book series by Tom Boddett, (those of you who do not listen to public radio will know him from Motel 6, He leaves the light on for you) Well he was working in Alaska building houses and wrote these books called" The End of The Road, The last decent parking place in North America, and Those grand occations at the end of the road" Do to my not being a strong reader I got them on tape to listen to. And Tom himself reads them which most likely makes them even better.
But if you find yourself in a book shop, or good will and find this series I think you may just enjoy them. I know I sure did.
