An watching local motorsports on TV, just found out how fortunate you lot are gonna be.
New race track being built in Austen completion next year.

I agree that it is great to get F1 back in the States and congratulations to Austin on building what looks to be a great facility. I just wish that
they could have agreed to use one of the existing world class road courses we already have [Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, ...]
That stupid race that they "held" at Indy literally put open wheels motorsports back 10 years in the US.

This track has been 'talked about' for quite a long time. I used to work for a construction company in 2003 and they had in their plans to build this
track. But it was too close to 911 and funding couldn't get done at the time.
I had planned to drive around the track during construction and I thought it would have been pretty cool.
