Which kites
Hi I have 18m-12m-9m phantoms should i bring them all ?
I was thinking about leaving the 18m At home, and bringing a 9m concept air instead just cause its smaller to pack for the light wind days. Hopefully
it doesent even get pulled out and the wind is good. I did use the 9m CA in 2002 when I was there last time
Thanks Jim

It is hard to say.... I did use my G1 15 meter last year, but not too much. The 8.5 razor never got pulled out. Then again, I like to bring all my
kit with me, just in case!
48 days!!!!!

It only takes one arrow to bring down a deer; Why do hunters load their quivers with more than one if not to show off to the others how many and what
varieties. One only needs a driver; an iron and a putter to golf with the other clubs in his bag are for show and tell. Only takes one hook to catch
a fish, my tackle box is filled to the brim with fishing paraphernalia. Are you getting my point, bring your entire quiver of kites, etc. bring
everything you have. It will help you to remember when it comes to story time.

good question.
every year i bring like 10 kites and only use about three. but
i know if i don`t bring alot of kites the one i need will be left at home.
for the most part. i use my 3m,4m and 5m foils the most. but than again. i fly under powered most of time until i get a feel for the playa.
BTW. my nickname is 2 meter man. as i like strong winds and small kites.

I almost didn't bring my 10m foil last year to save space, but decided to instead of an extra change of cloths.
In the end I was glad that I did, the one day we had almost no wind I was one of the few still out buggying. I brought 6 foils from 1.5m to 10m and
used them all at one point or another.
(Though the small ones got much more use!)

There is no doubt about leaving kites behind, being the ones you need. I've never used anything bigger than a 9m phantom, but will be bringing some
bigger ones for sure, even though i don't expect to use them.
If it comes to weight, leave the bigger kites behind. Other wise bring it you'll keep the wind gods on their little toes.

If there is one you don't bring, it'll be the one you need.
