Has anyone rigged a Bullet up with a depower set-up similar to the Frenzy or Pegas WingWarp system, or a UDSI/II system? I'm wondering if the 7m Bullet could become a decent depowerable kite and work in a wider wind range this way.

Not looking for jumps, but rather pull for skiing, buggying.

I have never heard of such things with a bullet. Let me ask you this.. Is this kite bridled with the a's b's and c's separate or do the a,b and c's all going together right off the bat?? That will be a huge deciding factor. If they all come to a point right from the kite, you will basically have to design the almost the whole bridle to get it to work, and it may never fly right.

I haven't seen a 7m Bullet "in the flesh" so I don't know how it's bridled, but the '04 4.5 cascades pairs of A's, B's , and C's to a single secondary. The secondaries are grouped at the line leader. If the 7m follows suit, you're right, you'd be getting into an extensive re-bridling to rig it for Wing Warp or UDS.

I was asking because I actually like Bullets and there are some deals 7m out there. Sounds like the bridling would be a lot of work, but was curious how the profile might "feel" under depower rig too.

It may change Krumly. I know the 3,4,and 4.9 blades are all bridled just like you said, whereas the 6.6,8.5, and 10.5 are all bridled do you can de-power them.

You can of course rig any kite for depower. But that doesn't mean that it will fly well and perform well. And of course the depower may not be smooth, more on/off. There was a craze in Europe last year and lots of folks were putting depower on everything Begos, Busters, Blades U-Turns ect. But out of all those stories of success and failure I don't recall anything positive about the Bullet depower tests and there were several negative tries. IMHO the shape of the Bullet sail is just wrong for adjustable AofA. When you look at the popular depower sails Frenzy, Rookie, Cool, Montana ect. Those are the shape of things to come and the designs that works well with depower.

all foils except ARCS have such bridles, just depends on how they are cascaded
