Blind - The rider does not pass the bar so he lands with the bar behind his back with his back facing the kite. Referred to like a
"Tantrum to Blind", or "Front Flip to Blind." Sometimes backside spins are mistakenly referred to as "blind" spins

These are sort of extreme examples of what I refer to as "flying blind". This is blind stance and what you are asking for.
I refer to it more as a learning / flying technique. Spending time looking at something else and feeling where the kite is instead of looking at it.
Getting used to feeling where the kite is instead of looking, is important in progressing. To go upwind it is best to look upwind. To jump it is best
to be able to spot the landing while correcting the kite. Being able to control the kite and look at your board when getting into it on water is
another example of a common use for flying blind.
When I was learning I would take breaks sitting on a log and trying to just keep the kite happy at 10 or 1 while I watched the goings on. This was how
I was teaching myself to fly blind.
So ... when I am saying " flying Blind " I mean flying the kite while paying attention to something else . Looking at that something else and keeping
the kite under control?
I landed a jump on the water blind by accident ... rode downwind for a few seconds going "What the hell? What do I do now?" and just gave up and fell
over
keep toe pressure, then when you are going down wind, put pressure on the back foot and slide the board around to heel side. Just like a transition
to toe side before a carve, just backwards
