Camping or hotel?

Ok so I ruled out hauling my trailer, it's way to far.

So camping is good with me if there is a place to have a shower at the end of the day. Any such luxuries available?

Failing that it's hotel time.

Thanks for any information

Fort Stevens State Park is right there with really good amenities and a very friendly atmosphere - weekends will be busy so book in advance (like now). The rates are obviously much more reasonable during the week.

Nope, that's daytime temps. Overnight usually drops about 10 degrees or so.

It drops below the dew point every night. Expect everything to be wet every morning.

Many days remain cool and damp. Be ready for a high of 12c ( sub 60f ) and damp all day. VERY possible !

For the Buggy camp crew, Fort Stevens will allow you to just use the showers for about $2.00.

As Jim stated 60's is the day time temp. The camp fire and the beverages tend to keep us warm enough at night.

Thing about buggy camp is it is "roughin it"
Phil has a port-a-potty on site. Meals are under a small event tent. You are exposed to the elements (just ask vwbrain). But the experience at camp is worth the trade off.

Is there a spot to pitch a tarp and hammock at buggy camp? No matter what I'm camping just like the hammock best.

No place to tie off between two trees. If you have a hammock stand, yea plenty of places.

Departure - TBD.

Regardless there will be a big old bottle of Bailey's brought from the duty free for sharesies ; )

@ macboy......Dude I don't go anywhere without my coffee maker! There will be coffee in camp every morning. The beach is a fill up before ya go, or hit one of the many coffee shops either on the way, or out of the way to the beach.

I liked the Microtel waffle maker in the morning. Lol.
Not to mention we got the rate at 67.00 USD per day. That's like 50.00 CDN. Hahaha.

Sweet, American Chinese food. Will give a try.
