VTT Black Widow II Prototype Test Ride! Pics added

Well, I have had the Black Widow II prototype by VTT now since JIBE. I got to ride it once while at JIBE (Mougl was busy ripping it up:wee:). Now I got to really give it a good go of it at my home grass field.

On the beach it was outfitted with Bigfoot lites . It handled very nicely. I was able to put the buggy into nice power slides, and scrub speed if needed. Turns were very easy and long straights were nice and smooth.

On the grass field is where I feel at home more than anything. I was able to really get into it while on my home turf. I was flying my 18m Phanny in 10-12mph winds which made for some real exciting riding! I put the stock barrows on, which made it hold a real nice line with any power that I threw it. Again, power slide were done with confidence and with no problems at all! Normal turns were effortless! I tried to break it (that is what Van wanted me to do) No luck at all. It held up great.

As for the comfort, again, no problem. I usually like to ride stretched out, but this was set up a little different than my buggy. The foot pegs were a little closer than I am used to, but the swan neck can be adjusted easily but I was still comfortable. The seat is nice and comfortable and the back support was actually quite comfortable considering there is no rail. The strap on the back of the seat that goes all the way from one rail to the other works nice for support. This coupled with the plastic insert on the back of the seat made it very comfortable. The buggy itself has a very nice look to it and he can make the bag on the back to hold your keys, extra kites, handles, your hat, suntan lotion, whatever.

Overall, I was very pleased with the buggy. Van has done a really nice job putting this buggy together. I will snap some pics and put them up. It will make a nice beach cruiser, or a nice field buggy.

If it has not sold by the bash Dave, this very demo will be with me! You can take it for a spin for sure, if it's still around!

It's the same one that is on the front page of my website. I took pics of if before I sent it out to JIBE. Since it is used as a demo, you can get it from Rich for a deep discount.

if it doesn't sale before the fall bash, you'll have to fight with me to get a ride ...hahaha... hope to see you guys at the bash.

I really liked this bug... I took it out for a bit at jibe and had a blast... Feels like when you are driving a truck all day, then hop into a corvette... Everything feels tighter, more responsive, kinda taunts you just to go faster...

It was a good time for sure... Only complaint: needs a mudguard on the beach! I wanted to smile the whole time I was on it, but if I did, I got a mouthful of whale snot... Mmmm!

Awesome job! Very cool buggy!

Whale snot:barf:
Van if I have the funds and it is avalible I would love to buy it. I thought strongly about buying the one you had at the spring bash. But the funds weren't there. But I think I'm big enough that I can push past you to try it out:evil:. Or just gently pick you out of it and jump in:smilegrin:

Send Rich a U2U and he can work a deal with you on the demo. I will also be in OK city as soon as I hear word there's wind!! Will be visiting some friends up there but if there's wind, buggies will ride!

Whale snot ...haha .. I actually made some whale snot blockers, just not in time to ship for JIBE. One is on it's way to Rich tomorrow now that I'm reminded.
