Best kite for buggy jumping

I've been reading a LOT about different brands and models and my eyes feel like they are going to pop out so I figured I would defer to the wisdom of PKF.

If you were to take to buggy jumping, which direction would you go with your kite choice, and why?

I've actually thought about this in the past... However, every time I think about strapping myself to my 75lb buggy, I get a little concerned about the outcome. Messed up my shoulder decently at the last Wildwood Buggy Bash.. not in a real rush to do something silly and potentially that painful again...

However, if I were to go there... I'd probably just use my Speed kites. Two reasons. They jump very nicely with good vertical. And the FLOAT. Giving me time to get my bearings and re-orient for landing before slamming into the surface of whatever I just jumped off of.

If I were considering fixed-bridle, I'd look for something with high-aspect ratio, and good float.

Then its toss up... Depower id go chargers, fast, lifty, good deal! If fb is your game, look to the widowmakers! Vip man!!

3rd, any other lei (have a look at the crossbows, they go both ways as a race kite, and big air monster, may be your ticket!) & twisters

...more safety gear!

Would it be too much to ask Rip to shoot some footage boosting with Wainmans.... wearing a bunny suit.... on Easter?

I really needed more sleep last night.

I think you would be served best by the PL Reactor II line! I hear the 10.8 is a freestyle/hang time monster!:crazy::lol:

OBE counts as jumping. CoolB and his Vapor 16.1 always seems to be the ticket.

My favorite jump buggies are

Xxtreme BaSixx
Flexi Scout (they are going back to the SS version again)
PL NZ - ultralite modded (carbon this and that)
Flexi SS, with carbon axle
OZ Stealth (they call it Stealth for a reason) buy an BaSiXX instead

It looks like you have an OK arc to give that angle a try in the 19m Venom .

If it works but you want to amp it up there is the Charger.

If you want a different feel then I would consider big $peeds ?

I haven't got Oz experience but expect the Mata would also fit the bill?

Before jumping get you transitions and backward riding down.

Watching the beach break video on here reminded me that LEI is also in the match !

That VII is going bye bye. Found a new home :)

Is it bad that I'm not a HOOJ arc fan? Phantoms, yes. Other arcs? Not so much.

Going with a depower foil of some sort :)
