That's what huge Flysurfers do.
Keep the kite in the air and it'll keep you in
the air. It requires the perfect wind conditions though, also.

It's a Speed 3. Very expensive. They like to be flown ONLY in butter smooth wind… if you live inland and the wind can get choppy, I'd forget about it.
They don't handle gusts well, and are designed for their bottom end, not top. In the right conditions they are a gem… unsurpassed bottom end power,
limitless lift and float… but in anything a bit bumpy, they are prone to folding and just not flying properly.

in this vid the hang time is produced through hill gliding. the wind travels up the slope and accelerates which produces mega lift. then a combination
of rising up and moving backwards gives you extended hangtime
