Ozone Access XC 10m

Hey all, I have a chance to buy a Ozone Access XC 10m with bar and harness for $500. It's never been unpacked and is brand new with tags. Is that a decent price for this set-up? I see how much they are new so I figured I might be able to make a little cash by reselling it. I don't think a depower is something I want right now but for the price I figured I better pick it up. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

it depends on the year, but for the price it really sounds like a great deal. That's one real nice depower btw, if you are planing on getting into the depower's eventually, I'd say give that kite a try. Really easy going as far as 10m kites go. Very predictable, super simple use. You really can't go wrong with an ozone IMO. What type of harness did you get if you don't mind????

I've got this kite. It is great. It's tamer than my Frenzy's. Well built and good looking. The bag is a little lame compared to the Frenzy's but I don't fly that anyway.

If you buy it, you need to fly it. Just wouldn't be right not to.

The price seems great. Make sure you inspect the kite, bar and lines thoroughly. It sounds a little too good to be true.

If your buying the kite looking to make a few bucks selling it here is out so you may want to put it on ebay. However it will be easily identified and purchased by no one from this forum. PKF members fly for passion not to make a few bucks. Im not the board police but this post really pisses me off......
Nothing worse than the WIIFM (whats in it for me) attitude........................

Missed that entirely in the first post :embarrased:

Thought Chris was just trying to snag a good deal on a kite he might progress into in a couple of months.

Must get the prescription on the rose-colored glassed rechecked.... sigh. Gribble.

You should buy the kite and fly it. Leave the profit-speculation to the bankers.

I never said I was going to sell it here and I never said I wasn't going to fly it. Chill out. You really think I could have a kite like that in my hands and not fly it? I might keep it, I might sell it, don't know yet. $500 is a ton of money for me right now so it's a tough decision. Not everybody is as well off as some of you obviously are. Thanks for flaming me for something I didn't even know was unethical, btw.

again this forum is about passion not profit margin............................most all of the forum members take hits on sales/shipping to pass the stoke to other forum members..............I would recommend you do the same........................

How many vendors are on this website again? Just sayin......I think there's a lot more money being made on this forum than you know. I do realize a lot of people do take hits but there is also profit being made on a daily basis, in my opinion of course.

Thanks for the recommendation, I will abosulutely PIF (pay it forward) when I can. A lot of people have helped me out in the past and I try to do the same as much as I can.

As in, I'm not stating a fact. I have not researched it and I don't know for sure so it's a matter of opinion.

Not trying to step on toes here..... but went back and read all of ChrisH post from his beginning. Kinda the only way to get to know somebody on a forum like this. I personally feel his comments were not made in an WIIFM intent and I hope others look deeper than one post to get a feel of who he is and why he's here. Tridude I know exactly what your're saying and agree w you...... just don't think that was his only real intent. Just my two cents.
