Donkey d@ck

Where is a good place to purchase a new one or two of these? Mine seems to short as my loop keeps coming loose of my harness and it is a scary thing. :shocked2: Also it has some cracks in it. Is this a certain type of neoprene or can I find a piece of firm tubing that will work?
Any info will be charished :singing:
Dave.

Uh? Usually, they're just made out of 8mm PU tubing from the hardware store ... and usually, they're stitched in as part of the CL :( You USED to be able to buy independent parts that velcro'd to the spreader bar ........

I bought a few off Angus I think......Peter Lynn DD's. Seem simple and very universal.

If you're using an arc with this kind of safety -

you could just use a carabiner - much simpler to employ at the beginning of a session and will not have the premature ejection that so many kiters experience at one time or another in their lives. If this doesn't work I would see a doctor.

Chicken Loop Lock, Flexifoil

Made universal by the fact that it attaches to the spreader bar and not the chicken loop. It also means you don't have to worry about the free end trying to mate with your epidermis.

Available >>here<<.

Field Expedient note book :

5/16" black rubber fuel line and a standard zip tie... cut the tubing to length (trial and error method) and trace the zip tie thru it, around your spreader bar and back thru. As you fasten and tighten the zip tie, the ratcheting head will jam in the end of the tube and prevent it from slipping off... unless you bail hard.

It ain't sexy but it gets ya back in the game...

Thanks every one.
Kami mine is held on the chicken loop with a screw and nut. I think it was origanaly velcro. I think for now I will just look for the right size flex tubing. And maybe order the one that velcros to the spreader bar.

I think it's just the stuff used to air-compressor tools ... pretty unclassy to see it printed on the CL and donkey dick but oh well
