Jekyll Island Vacation Out Takes

I decided to post the humorous out takes.....

As I remind myself every morning when I get up. If you can't laugh at yourself..... go look in the mirror.....

Another big thank you to Angus!!! We had a blast. Thanks so much for all your help and sharing your expertise......

And a big thanks to Drew who told me how to add tunes to my vids.....

I hope you all enjoy this and have a bit of a chuckle.....

From the crap wind I have here learning the arcs has been a painful experience. I couldn't believe Angus handed over his Phantom and his buggy. I was so worried about doing something wrong and messing up his phantom.....I was afraid to even touch the bar....

I do have some video of me finally grabbing on and taking a good ride and getting some jibes in on it but I figured this was much funnier..... I know when I got back to the hotel and saw the video myself I laughed my ass off..... poor Angus.... got stuck pushing the village idiot around in his bug.... he has the patience of a saint.......

The captions were perfect every time. And watching chips bounding towards the dunes as fast as he could reminds me of my boys. "No dad this kite is the perfect size". "No really, this kite has lift............. See!" It's funny but I could usually imagine what Angus might be saying. I thought, "tell him to turn back Angus" and you did. We should all be more comfortable making fun of ourselves like this. Cheers!

Had plenty of moments like that bro, you are not alone. Dont feel bad... Where is the nostril shot...? The top of your nose is not as funny... In fact I think I could pick your nose out of a crowd... Wait... Did I just say I could pick your nose...? Never mind !!!

Great vid !!

cheezy.... I don't feel bad..... it was a total hoot...... I had an absolute blast with Angus..... I wish I had more time out there. I didn't post the vid where Angus was successful with teaching me and I actually caught on and was making some jibes and rolling under the power of the phantom..... success is not funny.... failure is..... and if I can't laugh at myself...... I just need to look in a mirror...... I have a big belly laugh every morning when I shave...... :singing:

If you really want to pick my nose.???..... but I wouldn't recommend it......

I don't really know..... I forgot to hook up my GPS to Angus..... However, Angus does have a good kick, so my guess would be about 3-5mph depending on whether the push came from the upwind or downwind side.....

Got to hand it to you Goofball, not many others would post a vid like that! Glad you did! We were all somewhere close to that at one point! Well maybe not the looking at the camera so much part,

Good luck in your continued success in the buggy and board! Hope to see you at WBB!

That was my son aka "Chips" with all those camera peaks.... except the first one when I knocked my GoPro down...... I couldn't resist putting those in.... all our vids seem to start out with either a g00fba11 or chips up the nose shot checking to see if the blinky light on the GoPro is working.....

For me it was more fun to post this video than the successes...... and a lot more funny.......

I am waiting for the final OK from my wife for WBB..... keeping my fingers crossed......

Great vid. I had a great time with you guys. Funny, I explained that when learning to buggy, all the dynamics work just as well at a walking pace as at 20 mph, so no need to go fast and scare yourself.Well Ryan took me quite literally :bigok: He actually did very will with some good runs and perfect jibes. I was the one that let the kS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K- get caught on the back wheel, LOL, forgetting how close it is in the little bug!

Hope you guys come back again; I enjoyed the visit with your family.
