Pot of Gold

Now, now BC...settle down. Not THAT pot of gold...

What's the scoop on the potlucks? What to bring / how much to bring etc.? Cooking facilities if "some assembly is required"? I could easily bring a bottle of rum to torch some pineapple with.....

I am bringing 2 two burner propane camp stoves, and one elec coffee maker, and one folding table for a cooking area.
As for the potlucks, I always plan on bringing enough for 20 people. What ever is not consumed at that function will be the next day.

I am also bringing my extreme cooler with dry ice for camp perishables, and 2 standard coolers.

pots and pans are always needed.

Rum is always welcome!

I tend to be quite partial to the Jamaican kind but that might be due to some Newfie influence in my life (wife's momma is a newfie tried and true right from the end of the road Newfoundland  )

To quote tree.com: As legend goes, a commanding officer was visiting Newfoundland and was offered rum after dinner. He noticed that local people were downing shots of the rum without making a grimace, so he did the same, letting out a howling scream in the process.
The scream was so loud that people ran to his aid. An American sergeant, the first person to arrive, knocked on the door and asked, "What the cripes was that ungodly screech?" The Newfoundlander who had answered the door replied, "The screech?''Tis the rum, me son."

The pre-screech rum came from Jamaica, traded for Cod fish. They age the rum 5 more years and voila - screech is born. Not a fan of screech but the Appleton Estate makes a nice Jamaican Rum. Yum! Plenty to go around. I cook with it more than I drink with it but I don't think that's any reason y'all have to eat it. Drink, me friends.

Will bring the big mofo frying pan to torch a mighty helping for all. Anyone have fire extinguishers?
