Terrablades - Ski binding plate model
Binding plate made per special order, customer wanted to mount standard ski bindings. Causes the rider to be a bit taller, still looking pretty.

you were linking to the "your control panel" version of the images, I flipped them to being pure image links by visiting them and then viewing the
image directly, then pasting that address in as the img.
As always they look great! You should pass on the forum address to your customers so we could get a few more terrablade/coyote/doomwheel riders
about!

Thanks for fixing the images.
Price still $950, per order 4 week lead time. A ton of CNC milling and work not to mention $500 in materials (aluminum, stainless hardware, spacers
inside hubs, tires, tubes, Bomber bindings). I make them for love of the sport, and to promote the sport.
One pair of skates consumes a 10 ft bar of 4"x.75" aluminum.
Skyway does not make the knobby 200x50 wheels anymore so switched to MBS wheels which are hot! MBS is very easy to work with.
Result is an amazing skate though, they turn on dime with a kite, and don't mind speed, lot o speed, nearly impossible to find a terrain they can't
handle or an obstacle they don't just plow over.
Thanks for complements I plan on getting Luke's vids on my site and updating it soon. Its hard to do the skates justice in photos.
Another pair to Berlin below..

In that last photo, does the 'far' skate have mudflaps/wheelguards installed?

That is a pair of grass skiis against the skates he is comparing the skates with. Just looks like it is part of the skate but is the grass ski.

Ok, I thought it might have been a grass-ski, that's the only time I've ever seen the treaded-band like that.

WOW, I mean WOW!! being a skier, I really dig this. Any thoughts on making them a hair longer? The $950 includes the bomber bindings. Any change
in price for a pair set-up like original post for user supplied ski bindings?
BTW AWESOME looking work man, really awesome. I was just thinking about something like that yesterday.

No weight limit as of yet.
The bomber bindings are included, the other model with the ski binding adaptor is the same price.
Also there is a large choice of MBS tires to chose from now, colors and treads etc.
As far as a longer skate, the skates are almost 31" long. I have never seen them so much as wobble at speed ever, even on very unstable ground. The
two middle wheels are rockered as well to help turning. What length were you thinking of going up to?
Most Boot sizes are accommodated by moving the binding plates, and also moving the bales which have 3 positions each end as well. For exteeme boot
sizes custom binding plates can be provided. Let me know if you have boot length in mind I can check the end to end lenth of the boot with the
existing binding plates.
thanks much

I am asking mostly out of curiousity right now. It will be quite a while before I am ready for flying a kite on wheels. :-p
Being a skier, and one with a bad habit of occasionally sking "from the back seat" I worry about having weight back with a pull thru the window and
then the kite unloading and going off the back of them. Having never riden though, it may be a complete non-issue in practice.

Lamrith-A valid concern, but once you're getting pulled, you'll figure out where you want to keep your weight. I know that a some of the time on my
ATB I am leaned at angles that would quickly cause me to meet the ground if the kite wasn't fighting gravity so well.
