trouble with avatar

How do you post a avatar? Having trouble with the byte of 26000? I went in and changed the size of picture in the crop option to 125 x 100 but site is still telling me to big...

This is one of the larger fields that I fly in, I'd say about 250 acres. Great spot for the downhill skis too.
