kiteboarding and engineering?
I've been wondering, is engineering a trade that is utilized in kiteboarding? Maybe I'm dreaming here, but I've always wanted to get into working on
mountain bikes, Kiteboarding, or basically anything else related to my hobbies. It seems like engineering could definitely go into the bars, and
materials. I wonder how much engineering goes into the canopy shape and construction vs. how much is focused on test iteration. My guess would be that
Foils have much more engineering as they are a known shape. Any industry gues out there? whats the scoop?
Kites: 14m Vegas, 15m SD3, 10m rebel, 4m radsail
Boards: GI mtn board, Flyradical 139, plydoor 154
