Thats a hell of a lot of harnesses
Hey guys,
just went in to a local supply shop to check out some harnesses.
Was great to try them all on and get a feel but before i dished out 160euros i wanted to check out some forums.
Is im just starting to get on the board and pretty sure about getting the twister in 3 sizes to cover all wind ranges i thaught that i better invest
in a harness to increase practise time before i can no longer hold teh bar
I do not mind to spend up to 160 (would prefer a bit cheaper) as long as it will last me a few years and also alow me to grow in to it once i start to
get better and preform jumps ect...
This perticular shop deals alot with mystics.
Any advise shot my way would be great.
Thanks
Rhys

Do you have depower kites with chicken loops? Are you planning on getting into the water? Go for a proper waist harness then.
If not ... you might be better off with an Ozone Access harness ...
Mystic harnesses are very popular and I've heard nothing bad about them. The number one thing you need to think about is comfort - if you can, put one
on for a long time or hang off the rafters and see how it feels when it's pulling.
Lasting a few years ... maybe. I got 2 years out of my Dakine Fusion and I could probably still use it if I had to, but it's looking ratty. Seriously
dude - a couple hundred on a harness versus a couple thousand on kites - it's not worth wibbling about
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

160€ is too much, even for water!
If you are just getting started and will be kiting only on land look at a Libre Deluxe. They cost around 65€ and then you need a snatchblock that will
fit your weight.
I live Germany and have a shop. PN me what you are looking for and I'll send you my PKF prices.
(I won't answer till Friday because I am in the USA and getting ready to start traveling back)

ask the shop owner if he has any year end closeouts or dead stock... you may luck out and snag one at a great deal!
my seat harness is pertty minimalist, but it works... got it for $40? i think... it was on here, in the for sale section... its nickname is the kite
