Hardrock lets go of one GI FLight 93 ATB.

much gratitude.

GI PATROL 106 PULLED many a session near the 2000hour mark easy. and a mountain of spares

and the tarantulas wow did not make it 50 hours, every plastic shimm gone. they are not for kite power! better shims will help Aluminum maybe.

Interested to see how the Flight 93 holds up. The boys have those with little use right now. I think you can wear out any piece of equipment with your hours of use.

I am pretty sure you will blow the Vegas hubs in a handful of sessions. The corner plastic tabs are a weak point.

Wish you kept a gear/session log in blog format.

Spacers on the Terraintulas were CF. Hubs themselves were cast and painted aluminum.

I think the only hubs that stand a chance in he|| of keeping up with you might be fully machined two part hubs with no spacers.

the spacers, are Al, and a betch to get off!

i have already blown thru the vegas series less than 4 sessions and they rattle, though some with the tabs do better...but mostly the shearing force at the split eventually starts to move then its over.

i may swap out to a crossair set just to reduce hassle, and spare a set of vegas for some unknown reason, for down hill i'm sure ALL of it is fine for that.

i will do one round of rehab and at some point get them back up

blog format ? iWish too! ... this gig is really a stretch for me. my wife is the editor /writer, i can only supply the mountain of raw butchered english cram'd with idioms stuff. as i have said before she is amazed i'm still into this forum....so EVERYDAY is something completely new to me no matter the repetition, it is never the same Sam...and the cascade of fun junk will continue ...here just seems like a good spot.

Flight 93 has it's pros and cons. I ride one. Got a good deal on it. The deck is solid, no problems there. Talon bindings are of course awesome. The trucks haven't caused any problems, aside from being a bit squeaky sometimes. However, the Vegas hubs suck. I've split them and bent the screws that hold the two halves together. Overall the board is kind of heavy, at 14.5 lbs if I remember correctly, and I'm a very light rider. There are also no holes for a grab handle, so if you want that it'll be a DIY project. Being only 93 cm in length, some riders might feel a bit cramped, but I'm 6'0 and am very comfortable on it.

Once I beat the hell out of this board (respectfully, of course) I'll probably have enough paychecks put aside to make a special Trampa. But for now it's serving me well...

compared to my 106 this thing is light.

very darty, and yes first session cramped was the feeling, very nice pop.

the cubes seem quite soft .

THE biggest element is height . being a little higher maybe 2/3 inches makes everything, for the moment, sensitive. but by the end of the first hour all was good.


the dead deck 106 (deck) gives a nice soft landing if the kite lost juice but the 93 on a dead drop nearly broke my feet! it so much stiffer and with the pop, it kinda popped back into my feet.

very tight little board ,

check the vid the talons completely blown , i have them tied down and screwed. rusted the mechanics.
