Travel kiteboard project

Still hoping to hear good news about AJ, although I have never met him...

Since I'm more or less landlocked, I need an airplane friendly board. Not wanting to spend over $600 on one I decided to make my own. I havent finished it yet, epoxy and fiberglass on its way, but here is what it looks like so far.

Everything is 30 inches or less (maybe I'll shorten it another inch. 1/4 plywood, two sheets on the bottom with 3inch overlap in the joint. 29 inch long top plate (also 1/4 inch plywood). Might add some rocker when I epoxy the two bottom sheets together. If it turns out good in the end, I'll do a write up on it.

Too many kites, boards, and etceteras.
