You shouldn't have to take thier crap in your own house!!! Tell'em straight up, knock it off and play nice.
I guess we all have MONSTER-in-laws of some sort after we get married.
I always tell my mother-in-law (we're like oil and water) she'll always be my FAVORITE mother-in-law...and she says I'll always be her favorite son-in-law. I married her only daughter ;-)

In case I didn't say so earlier...

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (big inhale) BAAAAAAAAAAAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Look, just be glad that they don't live just up the street from you. How would you like you mother in law poppin' by unannounced while you're bare ass naked because you showered upstairs and forgot the clean laundry in the laundry room downstairs? I'll tell ya what, it sucks. The first time is kinda embarrasing. The second and third times are just plain creepy.

I have been avoiding putting my two cents into this thread. I don’t want my opinions in writing. You and Her will figure this out over many painful years.

My in-laws are 4.2 miles away and I have to go there almost every single day. Unless I am BANNED AGAIN, then my wife has to go.

Also, my experiences don’t matter, because WOW!!! :o Feyd wins...

heres the kicker though.....we are renting their house from them because they got jobs in the next state and moved in two weeks. so we are renting it as a favor to them. sure it helps us since its a bit cheaper. so the problem happens to be that technically it is their house. so they like to use guilt tactics to make it work.

if i owned it it'd be a no brainer, but they think its ok since its theirs. we even did the paper work to make it legal. that's why i'm frustrated.

if it was my own, they wouldn't even be staying with me.

now do you see the problem?

I guess everyone has issues with in-laws at one time or another. Mine really aren't that bad, we will agree to disagree, and leave it alone. Then again we are almost half the country apart from each other so that might help matters. While we're on the subject of scary in-laws and lack of jewels......

A friend of the family probably took the most crap I've seen from his in-laws..Whenever his mother and father in-law visited they took over the master bedroom and the daughter and son in-law had to sleep on the floor and couch due to their lack of spare beds. Their dog had to be put in a kennel because mommy and daddy's puppy didn't like their dog. Our friend had an old truck he was slowly fixing up in his garage, the other garage space was for their newer car. When the in-laws came they would make him completely clean the garage, roll the project out of the garage into the driveway, and the new car was to be parked onto the street. Mother and father in-law often drove separate vehicles down, and god forbid their 88 Buick and 91 Ford half ton ever parked on the street. The in-laws went to bed before ten every night and would throw a fuss if everyone else in the house didn't do the same. Often they would call as they were just pulling into town, and the visits would last as long as three weeks in the summer months. There is a ton of other junk that went on, but you get the main jist of things. He was with her for 17 years, 12 of them they lived together, and always the same whenever they were around. He finally left her when he caught her sleeping with one of his old friends. The mother and father in-law called him the most childish son in-law ever because he wouldn't forgive her. To them it was his fault that she cheated, he should have been more supportive to her needs.........:crazy:
