I hope the date mixup is only a bit of hassle for you Carl. BR the youngest is scheduled to be in our house for at least another 6 years. Who knows what becomes of the Hero after that, or if it goes with 1 of them or if either one still fit in it by then.

If you do bring another buggy, there will be a line waiting to purchase it. I checked out that Hero buggy of yours at NABX and your weld quality is superb. As a fellow builder, I like to look at other buggy builder's weld quality so I can learn and yours is the best by far.

Thanks Van

@Bob....yes major error there, I did in fairness hassle Mr Jordan a while back for the dates, as Denise and I needed to get these booked at work asap...Dean kindly unofficially came up with the date which we used to book our holidays....unbeknown to us, Dean had updated the dates on this site to a week earlier. Yesterday we booked our flights, unfortunately on the first set of dates.....just imagine for a moment when last night I am looking here on the NABX threads and notice the date had been changed.....I must have read the new date 10 times not wanting to believe it, I turned and looked at Denise and said OMG..."well, something like that", she thought someone had died.

Anyway, the long shot is after a sleepless night, we rang the airline first thing this morning and changed the flights to a week earlier, unfortunately we had also booked our post NABX trip to LA, so more work to do yet, plus.....and here's the biggy, we now have to request new dates for time off work, and at this stage its 50/50....we wont know for sure for another 4/5 days if we are successful or not.

Strange, we were there in 2009 with the new Cooper and there was no interests. How come that it is now?
There will also be the new MG racing kite,
much better then the old cooper.
This one is competitive with the Vapor and Spirit, only the price is different....

There will be some MG Aero's at the NABX.
Let me know if there are some interests because then we take also bigfoot forks with us to leave the complete setup there.

We had the good fortune of having Ripsession bring in some Coopers Pre NABX 09

The Dutch Team did a great job in 09 and Popeye is the ultimate ambasador. A joy to meet him.

I'm not sure why Cooper isn't taking off over here? More people fly at the level that a cooper should serve best over here. They should be turning on to friendly yet competetive nature of it ?

North America is far behind. Keep coming over and eventually we will catch up !

wait until Dean posts the info on a group code for booking rooms for the event - there will be a better rate. That might not happen until sometime early in the new year?

I'm not sure how I figure into your "Boobies taken care of" category but yes your list looks like a very good start. As a matter of fact, boobies are largely (totally) absent from both of my nabx experiences. I guess that's why my wife doesn't ever feel threatened when I come home with lakebed dust all over me. I think she would be worried if I was hunting or fishing and not bringing home any meat for the freezer. She would be wondering "where do you actually go while you're away"? As it is, the condition I'm in when I get home from the lakebed proves no one would find me attractive so it's all good!

I hear there is a bonus line to get in for raffle ticket purchases, but it took me 2 years to learn that trick. Lol.

OH Yes!! :tumble: Vegas has LOTS of BOOOOOOBIES! :wow:

I got the green light from the war department! Not even any chin music!! (..Oh crap, what the hell does she want that shes not telling me yet....)

Now on to the logistics of getting a Blokart or 2 there. I'll bring some kites and shine my most dazzling pokitetrash smile and mooch a ride or two in someone's buggy! I just don't think I can stand the shipping fees of a Blokart and a buggy...

Hey! My brother in law Frankiter might come too! For what it's going to cost me to fly, ship crap, hotel, rental car, etc, I should drive the Kite Fort and camp and charge rent to stay on the lake bed! It could pay for my gas!! I figured it would cost me about $3000 in gas and about 2 weeks vacation but hey its NABX!

Oh Crom yeah i will. It's the only way we can be counted!

As usual Terribles (yes, that is really the name of the company that owns the casino complex, so don't be surprise if its. . . )has changed event coordinators, and after all the wooing we did last year and the year before and the(why i get the big bucks)year. . . anyway, deja vu, the contract we thought was in the system is lost, not filed, doesn't exist, but the new executive in charge assures me that SOON(i'm hoping today)we'll have a new contract and then codes for you all.

Please, do use the code. It's a great deal, we're staying over at Primm Valley this year(all new rooms/only 3 stories high/closer to lake)and we have our usual high hopes!

Thank you Bobby for spreading the word, this is how we play!

Primm Valley - oooo fancy shmancy...

I think it's a nicer pool area but you don't get to swim in the buffao's butt and it'll be a short monorail ride to the hanging tree bar just for the ambiance.

Looking forward to it - bringing Fiona next year so she can add a Scottish accent to the mix. Maybe we could play that old game (was it called telephone or something?) where you start at one end of the line saying something and each person repeats it down the line until the last person...
I can see it now:
I hope everyone is having a great time at NABX...Cheers mate, having a jolly good time...pure dead brilliant, the other events are crrrrap....wicked pisser crap this morning, what size kite you fly'n...Vot? who pished in my Appex?.....ahhhh faccc the pommies took my ismy and shot in the butt with a rainbow....

Isn't Primm Valley Resort just a new name for what was Buffalo Bills? They show as the same building on Google maps.

I thought Primm Valley resort encompassed all three - Buffalo Bills, Primadonna, Whiskey Pete's

ahh, just saw this on a web link "Terrible's Primm Valley Casino Resort (formerly known as Primadonna Resort and known as Primm Valley Resort)"

Ok, just drove by there and there is a sign by the Chevron that says "Primm Valley Resorts". Each hotel still has their "Buffalo Bills" and "Whiskey Petes" signs up so it looks like they are under the umbrella of PVR but retain their individual historical names.

Denise used to have her Breakfast on her own each morning in Primm Valley Resorts Hotel, (I "think" it was called that when we were there, and looks much nicer and more modern inside), and I joined her on the Sunday morning for breakfast, the rest of the time prefering to get on the playa the moment I woke up each day and enjoying the egg and ham wraps from the NABX catering team
