Can I get some links to some respectable rider blogs?
Preferably people that update pretty often.

D'oh! I knew Kami would swoop in on that!
!

I deserved it. Not a lot of snowkiting in the summer time here but I just got laid off tho so I time to catch up on some kite related messing around before the snow flies.:spin:

At the very least there should be some good reading in the archives if dandre hasn't seen the blog yet.

You messed around on the landboard didn't you? Post about that, slacker! :dunno:

I can't help it cos I got that disease ... what's it called? The one where you just talk on and on and on even though nobody is really listening

I took the link out of my sig so I wouldn't give a certain Doctor any more ammo for his puerile diatribes on how much the PKF in general and I specifically, suck.

Master of funk has malware detected!
I read Kamikuza's blog. Good stuff. I have taken a lot of video from my sessions but no time to edit and that is my log. I should be writing down the lessons learned each time.

Odd.... might have been a false positive... my AV & MW definitions were updated within the last 2-3 hours and they're fairly aggressive. Will disable the link just to be safe.

AD72 vids/edit and all that stuff will eat your kite time, tremendous LOOK at what your doing for sure . the truth when the is GREAT the camera is the last thing on my mind! and when you do take the camera out in big air esp. its a goner! tether! one nuclear slam and its gone.

Kami's got a nice blog, gotta respect that kind of de zezz level kiting.

True. One of the best sessions I had this season was not captured by video. I was boosting huge from what I remember. The legend is a better memory than digital video.

I also wanted to add in the other topic about learning that there are a lot of great resources here and all those I have asked have been open to support. Be courteous and it will take you far. Also beer offerings to the kite titans onsite is a great way to gain the knowledge.

i've already read most of your blogs.
Kamis is my favorite;

you know after reading the other thread i'm going to take a hiatus from posting.

it was never my intention to step on anyone's toes; and I like everyone here a lot. I spend a lot of time flying, and making the best of what I can afford. But with that said it's apparent my enthusiasm is disrupting what I see as an almost perfect digital environment.

I want others to gain as much as i have from this board; and if I'm creating a non conducive environment then I'm the one that needs to go.

I'm going to work as hard as I can to progress our sport outside of this community.

Hopefully I can return one day and have enough experience to sympathize properly with people who have put the time in.

I really appreciate how nice everyone has been.

de zezz ...?

Occasionally I might post something that's of interest to someone else, but I promise you it's purely coincidental  mostly, it's there so I can count my sessions, try to remember the things I've figured out and keep the magic bits in the front of my mind ... perhaps in a number of years it might be mad-skillz, but for now it's just my buzz

dandre - Don't be like that - if you've actually annoyed someone, apologize and lets move on ... unless you make a habit of really going OTT, we're pretty laid back here and all enjoy sharing the stoke! And don't mind a bit of leg-pulling ...

de zezz(disease) level- habits beyond the control of the individual resulting in a perverse addiction where a distortion of reality is specifically suited to pheed said habits.

since your in Japan you should get a splinter blog called "there's a giant on the beach"

I'm confused. I didn't think that dandre stepped on anything so I don't have a clue what any of that is about but I'm sure that it "ain't no thang" and dandre doesn't have to worry about nuthin'

Kami, yes I've been playing on the board but not as much as I should be because I can ride my bikes again. So I've been riding and repairing trails that have been neglected over the years since I was injured and while I was building DH trails for a local Downhill mountain bike park. Summer has been busy.

I've been going over raw footage from last season. I almost always have the cam on so there's a ton of footage but like Phree say's it takes a lot of time sitting at the desk to go through it.

Feyd i'm in constant state of confusion, so glad your in the club too.

the guy is eager to learn a "new born" sport, looking for organized, well funded service-type stuff. we are just not there yet. i understand his frustration. the learning process is fly-time dependent and it just takes time.

rather ride than edit anyday!

clueless and pain phree as well.

Ain't that the truth, especially (IMO) in the snow aspect.

That's what I find so attractive about kiting. It's still developing and so many people are in the process of learning and pushing the envelope of the sport and thier own abilities.

And PKF is a great source for info and advice for those who are just getting into this silliness.:wee:
