im saving for my next kite to go with my beamer II 3.6, and want a bitof lift for jumping and i have been offered a firebee at a very cheap price, £65, and its in great condition. its my mates so i will be able to fly it first, just wondering what people think of them for jumping, etc. im 15 and 9stone and pritty experienced flyer. i know its not gonna be the most amazing of kites, but c'mon, £65

great price, but what size is it?? Also, firebees are not beginner kites. They are 4 line biased, meaning they need constant input on the brake lines to get the most from the kite. Although you can jump with them (as you can with any kite) its not recommended.

Only recommended jumping kites on handles- in order of preference-
Blades from flexifoil
Begos from Macpara
Riots from Ozone
Crossfires from HQ

I really dont recommend any kite much smaller than 5m for jumping, but no larger than 4 for learning. I see you have the learning down with your 3.6 and now its time to move on.

well its a 6.5 firebee, i have been told that the original ones, not the firebee force, have quite a bit of lift, nothing like a blade or bego obviously, but more than most budget kites like rad pros and busters, etc. i do not want too much lift anyway, as im moving onto buggying soon, so i think the firebee might suit me well

It very well could. It will be hard to beat for the money.
