Harness
Thanks a lot already for the warm welcome and great info! Reading the posts, this forum is full of a bunch of good positive peops...a far cry from
the general Internet population.
I have a Naish harness that simply goes around my waist and velcros closed. I am finding that it is riding up on me a bit. Is that normal, or should
I be thinking about getting a "rock climber" style harness? Thanks!

I have never used a "waist" harness but I believe that is their tendency. A "seat" style harness should keep things in place...
And Welcome !!!

Welcome to the forum and to a new drain on your wallet! Although I use the Ozone XC harness with D-ring, I believe it is normal, if somewhat annoying
for a waist harness to ride up, especially when you keep the kite high in the window. I think it may be less of an issue when in motion, and the kite
is kept low in the window. Anyway, where in S. Korea are you? I spent a year in Pusan on the southern coast.

Thanks guys. Hey bobalooie, i teach grade 6 at a bilingual school, and I live just northwest of there in a city cled Ilsan. Id love to live in Busan
or Jeju. Ive been in Korea for just about 7 years. I got certified to kitesurf in the Philippines about 5 years ago, but I dont live all that close to
water so I didnt keep it,up...that and its cold here for 3 seasons. Sure wish I would have thought about land kiting back then.Oh well, doing it now.
What were u doing in Busan for a year?

Way back in the early '80's(a whole generation ago!) I was a communications troop in the USAF, assigned to a small detachment just outside Busan on
the Soo Yung river. I can only imagine the crowds that would gather to watch you fly/ride. We used to have quite a crowd gather just to watch us
enjoy a day at the beach! I also taught conversational english for about 6 months while I was there, a great way to meet the people and learn about
their culture.
