Buying/Selling
Hey everyone,
Annyonghaseyo! Hello from South Korea. I'm not Korean, but have lived here for longer than I thought I would. I'm pretty new to this board, and
wondering how exchanges of money and equipment are generally done when buying or selling. Thanks a lot. Happy kiting!

Where in Korea are you? I've only been there once many years ago. All my transactions (not that many though) were conducted using PayPal which is
probably the best / safest way to go especially for an out of country sale.

Thanks. I thought maybe thats the way its generally done. I am from the states and can have things shipped to my mother or a friend back home there.
If within the states is PayPal still the way to go?
I work in Seoul and live just outside Seoul in a city called Ilsan. Where were u in Korea when u were here? I'll be in Korea for another year and a
half and then either back to MN or to an international school elsewhere. My mind changes almost daily.

Muchas gracias! Yeah Namdaemun, Dongdaemun and a few other areas are great places for the markets. Personally, the less shopping I have to do, the
better. How long ago were u in Korea?

Welcome!
I'm just across the ditch
Most of us use Paypal ... works good enough so far - I don't think we've had any problems?
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Most of the dealers on here don't mind shipping overseas
Keep in mind most will only ship to a confirmed address based on your PP account. That way both parties are covered / protected.

Haha...that's a fair time ago! I'm sure the place looks nothing like it did back then. I can only imagine.
