spoke with Angus this morning and hoping to set up a mid day surf and turf session on JI this Sunday, Oct 30th. Calling out to anyone who can make it. Mid day low tide with winds ENE at 14/15...............purrrrfect for the buggy, ATB, or water fowl. Angus is trying to clear his calendar. Hope to hear from and see a few of you there.... nfleech and I will depart Chaz around 730 Sunday morning arriving at JI around 1045/11am. Bringing the buggy, ATB, closed cells, and inflatos, few water boards.......... Hope to see you there......................

Don, the new convention center construction is on or ahead of schedule but the detour is still in place for now. I think it will be done for JIBE, but i am still checking with JIA and then will update the JIBE page for 2012

thank you for the detour update.................just looked at the ikitesurf forecast......winds honkin from 11am thru the afternoon on an ENE track........smoking land and water runs.................low tide is around 4pm? thinking 1130/noonish arrival time..........spoke to a few of the water fowl yesterday at Sullis but they had to pass..............

fellas, I'm out. I'm running on MayPops all around on my truck, so funds gotta be kept aside for that.

I definitely plan on a November trip, maybe even with the Kite Fort for the weekend. Angus, you think the JIA would have an issue with me parking the Fort for the day and then heading to the camp ground at night?

ok guys fri checked out here! ENE solid at about 3-4..we went til 7pm on the water. first had about an hour on the ATB for nice powered session, and during this land session one vegas gave up the ghost and then smoke it back on 3 plus the little star hub and oh the vibration ! sounded like chain saw!

Sunny, 65 F and blowing SE 15-20 all day. Low tide not till 6 pm but we don't need as much beach this time of year. It will be a pretty high tide at noon so no rush there.

St. Augustine was crazy today. With 23mph on shore, the tide was higher than I had ever seen it--and that was an hour before high tide. :-)

Sadly, we couldn't stay 'til it got low enough to buggy.
