Rocky mountain High
We got our second storm of the season and the pass is still open for a few days. I decided to see If it was worth trying to kite. I never found any
wind and didnt get to fly a kite, even thought I carried it on my back for 5hrs. I had a great day enjoying colorados incredable blue skys and
wounldnt describe this as getting skunked. There were so many people who were super stoked and it was great to be there.

I am glad to see some one knows the area. This is Independence pass and my favorite place to ride when I can get up there. The spring time is the best.
I also usualy get a few days at cottonwood before they close the gate too. I think it was you who posted about thirty nine mile mountain area, I have
checked it out and think it could be very good. I just havent seen snow over there in awhile, I bet 2008 was incredable over there.
I have so many places in my mind that I want to ride, just seems most guys just want to make it easy and hit the lake.
I am searching for hiking kiters, anyone out there?

g-force, my friend we need to talk. I have been riding sleds in this area way before I heard of kites. When I saw chasta's videos I thought, that
looks just like home. Tought croud around here so I am kind of embaresed to say I have one. To me its just another tool, like your truck, skies, or
underwhere. I have been riding snowboards since 1987 and I know what its like to be diffrent. This is the place for back country riding. When you say
we, are there othere kiters with sleds down there? I find this an extention of white water kayaking, I bet you are a boater?
