Well, the board seems a little slow tonight, so I thought I'd post up a little video I took last Sunday at Southwick. I was there from noon 'til dusk
(around 6:00pm) just cruisin' on the 8-10mph west wind. Got my mojo workin', by Muddy Waters was my tune selection, I hope you enjoy!

I sort of keep it simple. I have the Ozone Access XC harness with 'D' ring. I larkshead my strop line to one power leader extension, put the strop
through the 'D' ring on the harness, then put the loop on the end of the strop over the top of the other handle, hooking it with my thumb/hand. If I
need to let go, the loop slips off the handle, out the harness and I'm clear. Probably not the best set up, but has worked for me.

You are getting some good rides from that npw engine. Now that I have my harness I looking forward to taking some of the sidepull off my arms. In
your case the npw seems to be working well with a strop. How do you think it would handle in the same winds without the harness?
I agree on needing the company, sometimes snowspider comes up and we have a blast. Only one other buggy that I know of within 100 miles, and its
owner has never rode in it!(well, not that he tells, anyway) His wife bought it for him from my friend and kite mentor, Jan, who I learned about
snowkiting from(and who hardly ever rode the buggy, either) I've invited him out, both to the fairgrounds and to Southwick, but he has always been
busy. I guess he's not 'bitten' like me.(or we!)
I've always loved the blues, especially when they jump! :singing:
I probably couldn't have rode all day like that without a strop. I didn't use to use one, but got tired a lot faster. I still get the side pull that
the nasa wings develop, but it is much easier to handle when all the pull isn't all on your arms.(and it helps to be able to let go of a handle and
grab the siderail sometimes!)
EDIT: Keep that big wing! My 7M has had me moving when others were sitting! Light wind monsters, IMHO!

Bob, that video plays well to House Music. I was at a Sushi bar when I watched and could not hear your track...:dunno: but I am also envious of your
playground...

For sure this wide open beach ought to see more buggies! Even when it is way narrow, it still gets pretty good wind and is loads of fun! And
Southwick has a really good location for sunsets! When the sun sets over the water you can imagine you are looking at the Pacific, because of the
expanse of the lake! A real gem.
