He's in Thailand but shipping is reasonable - in my opinion :D

IIRC the boards are either 2010 or 2011 ...? I think the 150 was 2010 and the 140 & King 2011 ...

• All the recent Mako’s (2008~2011) are exactly the same dimensions and specs. In 2011 Ocean Rodeo introduced the first Mako’s with wood core.
• Earlier model Mako’s came with a flat foot pad - since 2009 they all come with the much better Bliss Pads … straps are virtually the same as they always have been.

This is my first post, was looking to buy a mako and came across this forum. From Hawaii, only been kiting for about 6 months, but been surfing for like 28 years. loving the kiteboarding comes in at a close second to surfing for me.

PS: the wind here just died suddenly early Feb and has not returned ! Looks like La Nina has raised it's ugly head again ...

Yo lads, been flat out here - it's our 'off' SW monsoon season, but have had heaps of days with wind ... found a new spot - it's unreal when that happens !

Wind is on the other side of the island now, so a bit of a drive & it's fickle, as many thunderstorms hit quickly, the wind backs off & have to put up with a few wasted 40-60mins drives this time of year.

But last 2 days here (Samui) have been #@%$#!ing - pretty steady 15-20kts+ (+ sometimes)

Makos have been killing it ... love the mutant set-up ... the 2012 models come with the 'mutant' option for the 140's & 150's as well as the original King 165cm Mutants ... if you have a mixture of flat, choppy & sloppyish small waves, the mako's just carve it all up !!!

BTW - will be having a PKF member 'visiting' kiter from Nihon (Japan) here very soon ...

You still got some of the Mako 140"s for sale?

yo guys ... been flat-out fixing some Villas up (working, as just in between seasons here & wanna be ready when the NEasters start blowing again) ... just got a new order of 2013 Mako's in already - something about improved tucked-rails or something - haven't tied 'em yet ... sold a 140 already to a dude somewhere between Exmouth & Geraldton in WA ... also still have a 2012 150cm, some 2013 140's, 150's and Kings ... so, will maybe have a slightly scratched 2nd hand 2011 (wood core) 140cm for sale shortly ... might upgrade my 2011 King as well, if I can afford to upgrade to the 2013 King...

will get back shortly, when i have it worked out more ...

few guys been after fins for mutant mode set-up on the 140's & 150's as well ...
