Anyone in Canada up for a trip to the bighorns?

Thinking about heading down to Wyoming in my van next week from Rossland, BC.

Plenty of room in my vehicle if you want to join. Conditions looking prime! Anyone else keen? Any Canucks out there need an early season big mountain snowkite fix? Get in touch if your interested.

Its a 12 hour drive from here, would definitely be good to share the ride!

Happy kiting folks!

Still here! :D

Meeting new kiters up there everyday!
Had some sweet sessions and glides... twisted my knee pretty good the other day though... so taking it a bit easier now.

The roads still open and its the most stellar snowkite area ive ever been to for hills and big mountain style riding, with lots of open area too. Its a snowkite paradise :)

Gonna be heading back up though montana this week, hoping that Mt haggin is good to go...

Wheres all the BC action is the question on my mind? So many trees... but there has to be a good spot somewhere? Im open to any suggestions anyone has, ill go scope out zones for all the people that have real jobs etc...

The road just closed this afternoon.

I got up there this morning then realised that all my skis had fallen off my roof rack! Still missing 2 different single skis. Signs up in Lovell...

...then got an unrepairable flat tire out on a logging road! etc etc it was just one of those days.

Oh well still got the rock skis... gonna head to Mt Haggin and check out what Montana has to offer :)

Anyone else in?

I thought Highway 14 between Sheridan and Burgess Junction stayed open all winter, but it closed immediately west of Burgess Junction during winter. Does anyone know the scoop?

Yes, Hwy 14 Between Dayton and Greybull (via Burgess Junction) remains open all winter. Hwy 14A from Burgess Junction to Lovell (Bald Mtn Kite spot) closed for the winter yesterday.

Sled access to the Bald Mtn area only until late May. There are other kite spots in the Big Horns once deeper snow gets laid in everywhere.
