Have been following his stunts, and they are all very impressive, but the juxtaposition of the pilots surrounded by all that metal VS him with just
the wing on his back, just amazing.

i 've watching as well. he is an Airbus pilot. flight suit evolution. head posture controls about 90% of direction and attitude.
impressive simplicity, kerosene powered , <10min burn. very FAST. No active surfaces.
around 55-60kgs fueled.
in an attempt to cross the strait of Gibraltar , he became dsioriented in the clouds and had to drop the wing and chute down, he exited the clouds
in blasting vertical dive and did not know it! thats NOT what you want.
he is looking for students.
