NABX Day ll
Opened the lake today around 8:30, plenty of wind all day, folks turned out quick and we had over 60 vehicles by noon.
Richard of WindJet fame made several demonstration runs, pics should be up soon.
Some went to Lake Mojave, but the wind was offshore, meanwhile, the winds were gusty and strange with a 'hot' channel blowing out on the lake.
Newbies began the game of exploration, while old timers reaquainted themselves. We all began to get accustomed to the new placement by the BLM,
putting us closer to the road, and giving us much less staging room and less room to spread out.
Registration wasn't able to start due to a printers malfunction, and will begin in the morning.
It looks like it will be an epic event, with amazing weather, wind, people, and rides.
Oh, and the pimped buggy thang!, look out, some surprisses coming there.
David Sabalino jumps out with a tricked out chopper style five wheel buggy, with Chip Brown, NABX's resident artist this year showing off his hand
tooled leather seat and accesory!
OK, i got to take a break in the casino, this desert dust is thirsty work!
