It's about time!
Hey guys (and gals)!
Don't know why I have not joined the PKF before now. Have checked it out before, but always seems I am busy with work and life in general.
Stoked about winter and hoping for ICE on the lakes soon. It's always a blast with my friends on Lake Arthur. All we need is temps to drop long
enough, and a light dusting of snow and it's pure heaven. It's not uncommon for us to have speeds in excess of 40 mph on the ice. Just a blast
:tumble:
Anyway, glad to be here now.
Thanks to Todd for prompting me to join PKF.

Welcome aboard! You will now give up everything else except for kiting to stare at the boards like the rest of us and wait for the next subject line!
Enjoy!

What!? There is more to life than kiting? Been totally into power kiting for years, just do not always have the wind for it here in Pittsburgh area.
Best time for power kiting here is in the winter. Hoping for ICE soon!
I'm afraid my real work will NOT let me spent all my time on PKF, but it's a nice ideal:singing::singing:
Thanks for the welcome guys!

Hey Mike,
Most of our local snow/ice kiting is impromptu, as ice and snow conditions change week to week and even day to day, but if it gets cold enough, we are
usually out on the ice starting mid January if not sooner. I'll keep you posted on conditions.
We also head up the Erie (Presque Ilse State Park) for the Erie Ice fly with Lee Sedgwick and the Erie gang. Date not set yet, but will let you know
as soon as I know.
