5-6 Meter Late Model Kite for Beginner Training
Looking at lots of stuff right now new, but though I would check and see if anyone has a used kite they want to (or are thinking of) sell to me.
I have a 3.3M Flexifoil Sting, but most days here are very low winds and would like to have something that offers the ability to go out in 4mph winds.
I have gotten great advice on here and am looking at kites like the HQ Beamer V (or IV), the Ozone Flow, anything Peter Lynn that isn't for a pro,
etc.
Let me know if anyone has anything. Just U2U me.

I have a 5.5m Reactor II that I would let go. I just added a 5.4m Vapor so the RII is a bit of a duplicate for me. Retail is around $550 and I would
sell it for $350. That's ready to fly (RTF) and I'll cover shipping to you as well. I listed this back earlier in the fall and then unlisted it
because it is such a great kite. Since then I've bought that vapor so I could let it go even though I'm not actively trying to sell it.
Link to info on the Reactor II.
Edit: Since I offered this kite up for sale here, I renewed my listing in the For sale section.

So, wanted to thank everyone for their offers and advice. I ended up purchasing an HQ Crossfire II this evening for what appears to be an awesome
price. Its new and never been used, which honestly helps since I am one of those idiots who thinks that I should be the first one to use anything I
own... I hate that about myself.
I am going out tomorrow with my 3.3 Sting as its calling for 13 mph winds and 70 degree weather. I will have to see how that goes. I am really looking
forward to getting the new kite and seeing what it will do to my arm length.
Thanks again everyone, and for those whose kites I didn't buy, please remember that I will most likely be looking for something else next month...

You will soon understand the phrase "praying to the Crossfire". This kite is a lifty machine. I liked it better with the adjustable bridle set to
the lifty position. I had the 5m. What size did you get?

I bought the 5m as well.
Hope it works out, it doesn't sound like you agree with it being a good novice kite based on the word "Pray"...lol. I will not be flying it in
anything more than about 5 mph until I feel confident with it... I will then graduate myself slowly. I really am a safety freak with all the general
aviation and ultralights and PPG's I have flown... great way to really get acquainted with weather and its power.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I let my then 8 year old son fly mine in 5 mph winds. No problem. It's when you fly that 5m in 15-20 mph winds that your
arms will be reaching to the heavens because you can't get them in any other position.
