Hickupper

I believe he is asking $200 RTF check this post
http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=20484
... New reactor II size is 4.4m and 5.5m ... both over $500RTF new .... If you are a newbie, look at the forum buy and sell .... lots of good condition used gear for us newbies to hook up with ... nobody pawning junk here ...

I am a new kiter .. the one that got me hooked was a 2 line PL Vibe II 1.9 and my first quad line was a Pansh Blaze 3m.

4.9m might be a tad big ... static flying it can generate enough pull to take you off your feet. Personally, I think something a little smaller makes a good trainer ... say 3.5m and under ... then you can learn to fly static. All depends on your average wind too and seeing as you are a prairie boy like myself, you probably get lots of gusty stuff so I still say 3.5m or less as a trainer then you will probably keep it as a go to kite for high wind once you have skills.

All depends where you want to go with this .... handles is a great way to learn flying skills and ride a buggy, but there are harness and bar options if you are going to buggy, land board, snow kite or go in the water... I am fairly new myself so I am sure others will chime in ....

go thru this discussion below ... it may answer some questions

So many options .... so little money ...:D
Welcome to kiting ....

- some kites
- NAPKA KC97 - BMK Frankenbuggy
- Hand me down snowboard gear from my kid

Wolfee and the Reactor are both issue free choices.

The problem is the size ? 4.9 is very big as a trainer kite ! Too big , in my opinion.

If you live in a place that has very low steady winds it may not be too much but something in the 3m size will serve you better if not.
