New Guy
OK I thought I should introduce myself, I joined a couple weeks back but just now getting around to posting.
This looks like a great forum! I have looked at others but landed here.
I am new to power kiting, my first power kite experience was last July over on the Oregon coast, my brother in-law purchased a 2.8 Sky Dog and he let
me be the guinea pig, that was it! I was hooked. I came home and purchased a couple cheap power kites, a Jakks 2.5m and a 3.5 and I actually like them
a little better than the Sky Dog (armature opinion, sorry Sky Dog) maybe it’s because I’m getting a little better at flying, dunno. I have added a PL
4.4 and working on getting a buggy, I can’t wait to get going!

Welcome to the Forum and to the addiction- err, I mean sport! :bigok:
I've just gotten into buggying and kiteboarding myself this past year and it's been awesome. Think about it non-stop, have a great time every chance
we get to go out.
Everyone on this forum is very friendly and helpful, as you have probably already noticed.
Hmmm, Idaho- any snowkiting out there?

I know there is snowkiters in Boise. They let me hitch a ride with them to fairfield, a huge snowkiting area. There is actually a large group in that
area. Not to many buggiers but maybe I just never found them. Man I cant remember the name of the leader of the group, I lost my phone with his
contact info sorry.

Guys wait till you see the buggy he's looking at. :wow: Talk about skipping the intro models. A smart move if you think you're serious about this.

Thanks for the welcoming response!
I’m new to the Forum thing as well so I’m not sure how to respond to a specific post like pyro did so bear with me. I came across a forum with a bunch
of kite boarders/snow kiters in Idaho, I will try and find it later and post a link if you like. And so far I haven’t been able to find any buggiers
in Idaho so maybe I will be the first! I’m sure there is someone out there somewhere tho…
Yes its true I have been working with Carl (PTW) to purchase a new buggy and I plan on taking delivery of the PTW Playa in April at the NABX event.
Since I am selling off all my RC racing stuff to fund my new hobby I thought I better get a buggy that is versatile and good quality. I did a lot of
research and I kept going back to PTW, so I emailed him, it was great timing :D

^^^^I just figured out how to do it about a month ago^^^^
Top corner of the post you want to quote there is a what I assume is a person and an + sign click that and it will come up. delete or add to what the
person posted and there you go. Nice buggy choice by the way. I am probably going to go with a VTT a little closer to home and can be collapsed down
easier from what I can tell and cheaper, sorry PTW don't have the funds for your bugs but man they are awesome especially the D4.

Wow, a PTW first time around! You are getting something very special for sure! I got some pointers from PTW when I built my buggy! Lots of help on
figuring out some last minute tweaks!
Congrats on a great score! BB has one as well!

Welcome Here Mike, glad to see you arrived safetly, there is just the best bunch of guys you could hang around here, and hopefully you will meet a few
of them at NABX, you will also notice within the forum a dedicated NABX page, where you will find all the info you need regarding the event.
Yes it was pure chance our paths crossed the way they did, I had only been talking to Bob a day or so before about potential buggiers who may be
interested in the new buggy, then out of the blue your email arrived.
The Buggy will be unique, and strong....oh and shiny, (normally reserved for only my own buggies lol), and I promise you I will take extra special
care of it during "Testing" at Nabx, we are a similar size you being a few inches taller (well everyone is ) so it I am confident it will fit you like
a glove.
