New to Kiting

Hello, Ive known about this sport for a few years but was never in a place that allowed me to partake in it. I have just been moved from the U.S. to Spangdahlem Germany. To me this place seems to be pretty great for kiting, does anyone have any experience in this area? Also, Im looking for my first kite. I am thinking about getting a Rush 4 Pro Trainer 350. Opinions?

Thank you!

Chris Krohn is about 2.5 hours from you. You might want to shoot him a private message. On PKF, his userid is Krohn1999. Alternatively, his contact email is in his profile.

Nothing wrong with the HQ Rush Pro. It is a 3 line kite. Generally the recommended first kite is a 3-4 meter quadline kite (depending on weight and prevailing winds). The quadline will have a bit more fine control than the 3 line. Both will still allow you to reverse launch, but the quadline allows you to turn faster/sharper by applying power on one side of the kite and brakes on the opposing side.

Sam
