10-15mph, Vii13m,
the last half of the vid i'm in a better running spot , kind of a simulated "down the line", wave ride. decent tidal pool jumps and grabs in the
last half.
definitely shows pilot/ board action, previous vid have almost same conditions but view has more kite action

have often do you change or repack your bearings. I hate getting them wet and avoid it at all costs. You seem to not share the same attitude :wee:

bearings in my experience are disposable, about a set every 3-4 months. 200-300hours a set in wet conditions with fairly hard running. SS may get
twice that with decent marine grease
ONCE there wet its over , with salt even faster. repack SS yes! but i would n't buy SS when i could have 3 sets of fresh for the same price minus
the hassle.
keeping them dry, with regular running, and NO water contact they can easily do 6-10months ....in that case a repack works and can be worth the
effort.
with salt water you should rinse everytime with fresh h2o then WD40 with a spin thats the best you can do. silicone stuff has not work for me, used
a couple cans with more wheel damage in bearing failure, maybe affects the hubs resin too adding bearing grip issues.
and just plain not up for a butt load of repacks, at first i was the same about getting them wet. but a safe runout into a puddle beats a back
crack(or an ankle step out thing) you know it be could be avoided. body first, board second.
wash, lube! everytime! thats enough love.... i swear by the wd40! if i fail to do it just ONE time , that set cycles out really quick!

interesting point here ... the vid shows a straight wired bar set with no trim. i am running a suicide leash, which can be transferred to front line
slide ring which also has a small loop grab handle. not a typical set and certainly not OME. the swivel is a large SS right to the main and front
line slide split. bar leaders can be changed for unhooked.
the fixed front line/depower main is set toward a more depowered kite allowing super light air flies and up to about 30mph on the water.
this is a custom set up that happens to be neat and simple. and in action in the vid

cool video. Still puzzled about the safety system. How do you flag out the kite?
Too many kites, boards, and etceteras.

suicide leash on the main , unit has a regular chicken loop and front line slide. the leash is affixed "suicide style" for unhooked.
to land , reattach the leash to the front line slide ring, reverse stall to the ground, unhook and let it go, it flags to front line.
how i flag out the kite ? grab the front line slide ring loop as i unhook.
the leash can STAY on the front slide , but definitely not that kite loop friendly and actually disables the slide after few loops, the suicide
leash and swivel are MY preferred set up for my style of flying it less complex fewer lines to deal with and the constant leash twist is not a
problem.

in the very first part this vid , it shows me waxing the line and the front slide pull tab (the black thing) right above the swivel.
