I'll probably regret this later, but I need cash now and I already have a couple of other low wind kites that I'm more used to.
This is a blue/red/white one is GREAT condition (maybe a little mud or sand here or there). It had been re-proofed coated and comes with the
super-nice Flexifoil Prolink handles with extra-long lines, (25-27m?) to really get you going!
It has the power-rings optimally installed for low-wind ability. The bridle link line is intact (the original European owner said cutting it
didn't seem to offer much better low-wind performance - and that this baby is already tuned to perform optimally within 1/2" adjustments!).
It come with it's minimal stuff sack in the same colors (it's amazing how small this kite stuffs down to - blame it on the paraglider quality
materials used).
The reinforced cell openings really makes this baby stand, puff, bounce and get-ready-to-rumble in a gnat's fart. And when you give it a few tugs, it
soars above like a frickin' B-52.
Check this out (notice no grass blade movement!)
It's has a reputation as a Blade alternative for floaty jumps, but with softer landings (but it never lifted me yet in the low winds I dared use
it in).
It also has quite a rep as a turn-on-tips, sub-5mpg buggy engine.
Also, it seems to make quite a fast, accelerating SNOW KITE
But, yes, it also take a certain race-kite finesse and brake usage to really keep it going and accelerating.
So, all said, it's not so much for newbies (and prob. not for chicken-sh*t dabblers like me either!)
Oh my...so tempting!!! Ok so I like fast. Not so big on jumping (this is why my Blade VIP is still lonely) how is the bego as far as speed in the
buggy? From what I have read over the past few min, it's seems good but I like hearing from forum members

it will fly fine as long as you trim it right...........your rear lines should be tight enough to leave a small crease running parallel to the
trailing edge..................tap the brakes, release and BOOM!
Ahhh, sounds like a nicely trimmed Reactor....no worries then!!! bego bego bego!!! Going to be interesting to compare this to the Blade VIP in my
quiver at JIBE
huge differences between the Bego and Blade..................... mainly the Bego is a brake bias kite whereas the Blade is a front line push puller.
Both are lifty and floaty. The Bego is right there with the Blade for jumping once you get your technique right..................Skytex material is
much lighter on the Bego than the Chikara material used on the Blade...................owned both, enjoyed both, as will
Mougl.........................congrats.................
Begos are great kites. I have a 600 and 400. You need to learn to fly and tune them but once dialed they offer race kite performance and speed with
blade like lift when you want it. $350 complete is more then a bargain price. When new, the kite went for 2 - 2.5x that KO.
If you need a low wind weapon and like speed then this is what you want.

I have a 2m that looks brand new. I just can't get it tuned for some unknown reason. You're welcomed to try it out next time you are down.
I seem to remember reading on racekites that Begos were one of the few kites liked power rings. Did you ever try them?

So much for that theory. I will have to try it when I am next at Sunset. Can't say I want to buy one; I am quite happy with my 2m Reflex, but I love
to try it. Thanks for the offer. hope to see you at the end of May.
