Boy Adam, I miss my Ranger! This isn't it is it?

Great low wind kite with tons of grunt! Turns pretty good for it's size as well!

Any modifications done to this kite or is it stock? Pics? What does "fair" condition mean?

If you bought that from flyjump, then it may be modded. I owned that kite before him and I unwrapped it from the plastic from new. I did the power line ext. mod on it. Helped eliminate tip tuck. That kite was super crispy, you must have had some good times on it! I only flew it about 4 or 5 times. Boy I may have to think this one over! Would love to have that back in the trailer!

I have a 12m, Just sold the 9m (trying to negotiate another 9m after seller's remorse) and I actually considered snapping this one up because it is such a great kite, a KA light wind rig and a good price for what the kite can do.

But I just realized my goto ski is running out of tune life and I just ordered up a new ski so no$$$ for non-essential kites right now. Probably just as well as I don't use the 12m I have now.:(

yeah it was a great kite, especially for those low wind days. crazy amounts of float if you are into jumping. a lot of 360s accidentally turned into 720s because of the hangtime.

this kite is powerful, but turns slower if you are used to 15-16m arcs.

its fairly simple to set up and fly and then pack down.

its a very clean piece of kit:bigok:

nice kite. On mine I put a top hat, pulley and a long loop line in front of the stopper ball. then added some line to the outer lines.this made the center lines a foot longer. this way I can shorten the throw so I can reach the top hat.now I can kill the kite when I am in trouble and dont need a leash. The throw is so long on this bar you can adjust the kite on the fly. it takes a little work on this kite but it is a great low wind grunt kite.

I can't believe someone has not bought this kite!

This kite will definitely get you going! Nice kite! Saving for N.A.B.X. or I would have snagged it back myself!

Anybody looking for a 12m ranger? I am looking for a 13- 16 arc, but need to sell this first. 275 plus shipping seems fair.... Thanks, ed

What is the difference in useable wind range between the 12m ranger and 14m frenzy?

Ranger

i should probably defer to others on that answer. I dont have too much experience compared to others on the board. I just seem to pull out the 14m frenzy over the Ranger and the Ranger needs a new home so I can find an arc to buy....

I have a 9m Fuel and was looking for a low wind LEI but this would work for me on land.
Would you guys suggest this for me and my low-wind needs?

are you talking beach or grass. On the beach I think my 11m Neo does pretty well at about 7mph with nice hardpack and agressive flying maybe even less. on Grass I would say 10mph is the bottom end. Never flown a ranger but I would Guess about the same.

I was flew it for the first time today. It was awesome. I didnt think it would turn as fast as it did
I was flying it in 5 mph wind static.
